Your Child's First Visit

This first visit is designed as a well-care visit to provide you with education and guidance for your child’s oral development, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. We’re here to answer any questions you may have regarding your child’s dental development and discuss proper oral hygiene habits and techniques, healthy diets and evaluate their growth.

Ways To Prepare For Your First Visit:
  • Read a story about the first dental visit to your child
  • Role-play being the doctor and count your child’s teeth
  • Always use positive language and refrain from sharing negative experiences
  • You can even try using an electric toothbrush to simulate dental instrument

Our staff is well informed and happy to assist you with any questions you may have!

Baby's First Teeth

As soon as your baby's first tooth appears, schedule a first dental visit. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children should visit the pediatric dentist before their first birthday.
